About this role
Clara is the fastest-growing company in Latin America, building the leading solution for companies to make and manage all their payments. We already help over 20,000 large and growing businesses operate with agility and financial clarity through locally issued corporate cards, bill pay, financing, and a powerful B2B platform built for scale.
We're looking for an AI Business Operations Analyst to join Clara Ops and drive a new chapter of how we run the company. You will be the person who spots where humans are doing work that machines could do better — and then builds the systems that make it happen, sitting at the intersection of strategy, automation, and execution.
You will report to the Global Head of Operations and partner closely with Product, Sales, Finance, and Engineering. You will own the full loop: identify the opportunity, design the solution, deploy it with AI and automation tooling, and measure the outcome, working across teams to eliminate friction and accelerate decisions.
This role offers a chance to be part of a fast-paced environment that will accelerate your career and support you to do some of the best work of your life alongside a passionate and committed team distributed across the Americas. You'll raise the operational ceiling of Clara by building systems that compound in impact over time.
Requirements
- Experience working at a top consulting firm (Bain/BCG/McKinsey) or similar professional services or high-velocity startup.
- Proven AI automation track record with demonstrated examples of automating and augmenting operations with AI.
- Ability to map and prioritize high-friction operational workflows for automation.
- Experience designing and deploying AI-powered workflows using tools like Claude Code/Codex, n8n, or LLM APIs.
- Ability to build and maintain operational dashboards (e.g., Metabase) to surface KPIs and flag anomalies.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with Product, Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams.
- Experience documenting processes for maintainability and handoff.
Responsibilities
- Map high-friction operational workflows across Clara and prioritize them for AI-augmentation and automation, building a roadmap that compounds in impact over time.
- Design, deploy, and iterate on AI-powered workflows using tools like Claude Code/Codex, n8n, and other LLM APIs to replace manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes.
- Collaborate with commercial and operational leaders to identify where agent-based or rule-based automation can improve speed, accuracy, or capacity without adding headcount.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards in Metabase to surface the KPIs that matter and flag anomalies before they become problems.
- Partner with Product and Product Marketing on process changes tied to new feature launches, ensuring operational readiness before every release.
- Serve as the internal expert on AI tooling for operations, evaluating new tools and building the internal playbook on how Clara uses AI.
- Identify data gaps and work with Engineering to create the instrumentation or pipelines needed to power better operational decisions.
- Document processes clearly so that what you build can be maintained, improved, and handed off.
Benefits
- Be part of one of the fastest-growing companies in Latin America.
- Work alongside a passionate and committed team distributed across the Americas.
- Access to an unlimited token budget for AI tooling and experimentation.
- Opportunity to accelerate your career in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
