About this role

You will lead the marketing strategy and commercialization of the da Vinci SP platform in Korea, working at a pioneer and market leader in robotic-assisted surgery. This role is central to driving SP platform readiness, adoption, utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day involves leading go-to-market strategy, conducting market research, generating insights, and executing marketing initiatives in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will develop a deep understanding of customer needs, clinical trends, and market dynamics to tailor growth strategies.

You will collaborate closely with regional marketing, field sales, clinical teams, and global stakeholders to ensure strong commercial performance and consistent messaging. This position maintains a strong customer presence, addressing feedback and identifying emerging trends in clinical adoption.

Korea is recognized as one of the leading markets for the SP platform, and this role will shape and communicate Korea's success stories and best practices to regional and global teams. You will contribute to accelerating SP adoption across markets while advancing the world of minimally invasive care.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product marketing for medical devices or healthcare technologies, ideally in robotic-assisted surgery or minimally invasive care.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with regional and global teams.
  • Deep understanding of clinical adoption processes and customer needs in a hospital or surgical environment.
  • Fluency in Korean and English is required for effective communication with local and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Use qualitative and quantitative market research methods, including direct customer interviews and field observations, to generate insights that inform SP strategy and market development.
  • Develop in-depth market analyses, including competitive assessments, procedure opportunity analysis, and market expansion strategies to support data-driven decision making.
  • Create and manage product profiles, including financial modeling, forecasting, and market impact analysis to support strategic planning and growth initiatives for the SP platform.
  • Lead commercialization initiatives for the SP platform through close collaboration with regional marketing, field sales, clinical teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Maintain a strong presence with customers and support field teams by addressing customer feedback, troubleshooting critical issues, and identifying emerging trends in clinical adoption.
  • Collaborate with Clinical, Sales, Service, and Product Portfolio teams to ensure integrated strategy and consistent messaging for SP across the market.
  • Partner with Corporate, Regional, and Global teams to localize global launch strategies for the Korean market and drive SP adoption.
