Vantage is the Operating System that sits at the heart of the retail media tech stack, connecting systems and workflows so retailers can scale their media networks without scaling headcount. This role guides conversations with retailers and RMN operators making consequential infrastructure decisions in their media business.

The Sales Director builds and runs a North America sales strategy that captures share in a mature competitive market. You translate Vantage's positioning into a regional commercial narrative that lands with retailers, RMN operators, and advertiser partners.

You expand the client base by closing strategic partnerships with major North American retailers while building relationships with retail media network leaders and C-suite executives. The role manages the full sales funnel with disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate revenue forecasting for the territory.

You work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure the offer resonates from coast to coast. This foundational hire establishes Vantage's footprint across the fastest-evolving retail media region in the world.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B sales leadership within retail media, adtech, or martech across North American markets.
  • Deep enterprise solution selling experience with multi-stakeholder sales cycles, C-suite engagement, and technical evaluation.
  • Track record of scaling enterprise sales from early stage to market leader in the region.
  • Deep market knowledge of the retail landscape, programmatic advertising, and how RMNs actually operate.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills with fluency in English.
  • Working proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot and a data-driven approach to coaching.

  • Translate Vantage's positioning as the Operating System into a regional commercial narrative that lands with retailers and RMN operators.
  • Expand Vantage's client base by closing strategic partnerships with major North American retailers.
  • Build relationships with retail media network leaders and C-suite executives, positioning Vantage as the infrastructure their RMN runs on.
  • Manage the full North American sales funnel with a healthy and predictable pipeline backed by disciplined CRM hygiene.
  • Lead complex negotiations including regional pricing and North American contract specifics such as MSAs and localized Data Processing Agreements.
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasting for the territory to the CRO and executive leadership.
