About this role

Think Academy US, a subsidiary of TAL Education Group, is an ed-tech company providing K-12 extracurricular learning services through science and technology. We are seeking a Full-Time Course Consultant to support our Elementary and Middle school courses.

In this role, you will provide expert guidance and personalized support to parents, ensuring their students' needs are effectively met. Responsibilities include participating in training sessions to understand our educational products, addressing client inquiries about courses and registration, and engaging potential clients via phone, email, and social media.

You will build strong relationships with parents by understanding their children's academic needs and recommending suitable programs. You will also develop and execute plans to meet weekly and monthly enrollment targets, monitor sales performance, and refine your approach to achieve optimal results.

You will collaborate with academic, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration between enrollment and program delivery. This role offers the potential to convert to a full-time exempt position based on performance, with flexible remote work from anywhere.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Teaching or Education is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the education industry, sales, or customer service above 1-2 years is preferred.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with parents and students.
  • Enthusiastic about education and helping students succeed; empathetic towards parents' needs and concerns.
  • Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness to tasks and deadlines; maintains a professional and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for 30-40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills; proactive and resourceful in problem-solving and addressing client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in training sessions to fully understand the company’s educational products and user needs.
  • Effectively addressing client inquiries about course offerings, schedules, teaching methods, and registration processes.
  • Engaging potential clients through various communication channels (phone, email, social media) to introduce courses and highlight the institution’s value.
  • Building strong relationships with parents by understanding their children’s academic needs and recommending suitable programs.
  • Developing and executing plans to meet weekly and monthly enrollment targets and improve resource conversion rates.
  • Monitoring sales performance and continuously refining approaches to achieve optimal results.
  • Collaborating with academic, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration between enrollment and program delivery.
