Concentric, a trusted risk consultancy powered by elite professionals from military, government, and intelligence backgrounds, seeks an Account Manager for Embedded Security & Intelligence Programs to join our Corporate team in San Francisco. This remote-friendly role requires candidates based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate, with in-person meetings at our headquarters and travel to operational sites as needed.

As Account Manager, you will oversee approximately 40 embedded professionals supporting corporate physical security and intelligence operations across multiple private-sector client environments. Your day-to-day involves managing staff hiring, timecards, and supervisory oversight while cooperating with the Program Manager and other Embedded Team Managers to support consistent program metrics.

You will work closely with the Director of Embedded Operations to document and manage program initiatives, engaging company subject matter experts to produce training and team improvements. The ideal candidate has practical experience in physical security, project management, and supervising diverse teams within the security and intelligence fields.

This role offers the opportunity to shape a team of security and intelligence professionals, advocate for employee needs, and drive excellence in client programs. You will collaborate with clients on security-specific training needs and stay current on emerging threats and best practices.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in physical security, project management, and supervising diverse teams
  • Ability to manage a suite of employees supporting security and intelligence services
  • Experience overseeing embedded professionals in corporate physical security or intelligence operations
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with the Program Manager, Directors, and subject matter experts
  • Capability to track and document program initiatives and metrics
  • Familiarity with conducting employee check-ins and performance assessments in a client-site environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and place top-tier embedded employees in client programs
  • Assist in screening and selecting candidates to align with client requirements
  • Conduct regular check-ins with embedded employees to assess job satisfaction, performance, and well-being
  • Advocate for employee needs and escalate issues as necessary to HR or management
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to embedded employees in the security and intelligence fields
  • Coordinate with clients on security-specific training needs, ensuring embedded employees stay current on required certifications and emerging threats
  • Maintain awareness of current physical security priorities, best practices, and operational procedures to effectively support embedded personnel
  • Serve as the primary manager throughout the entire embedded employee lifecycle
