As an Enrollment Specialist, you will make 80-100 outbound calls daily to prospective members, educate them on services, and encourage enrollment for free support throughout their cancer journey. You build trust by listening deeply, understanding needs, and documenting preferences to enable optimal care. This role serves as the first touchpoint, fostering empathy-driven interactions.
You report to the Enrollment Specialist Team Lead within a structured schedule that includes lunch and two breaks for consistent coverage. The team focuses on high-touch human support combined with powerful technology. We emphasize collaboration among caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.
Within your first three months, complete three-week virtual onboarding, master systems and procedures, and achieve daily call goals while applying coaching feedback. Build strong relationships, explain program benefits, obtain consents, and escalate urgent needs. Hone skills in trust-building and objection-handling to support our mission of human-centered cancer care.
Requirements
- Experience in sales roles building trust, listening deeply, and overcoming objections
- Recent college graduate with 1+ years in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
- Strong empathy and listening skills for sensitive interactions
- Ability to follow procedures and documentation standards precisely
- Experience in healthcare, startup, or related environment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to 80-100 prospective members daily
- Educate prospective members on Thyme Care services and encourage enrollment
- Build trust by listening deeply and understanding each member’s needs
- Document member needs and preferences accurately
- Explain benefits of the program to members and caregivers
- Obtain consent, conduct enrollment surveys, and escalate urgent needs
- Follow Care Team policies, procedures, escalation pathways, and documentation standards
- Participate in coaching sessions and apply feedback to meet quality and productivity goals
