As an Inside Sales Account Manager III, play a critical role driving growth within TE’s EWS specialty and target distributor accounts, including Electrical Wholesalers. Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers and manufacturer representative firms all from a remote environment.
This role blends strategic account management, technical solution selling, and customer engagement. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing specialty distributor accounts while identifying new business opportunities. Drive revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and converting opportunities through remote engagement like calls, emails, chats, and virtual meetings.
Build strong relationships with customers and manufacturer representatives by understanding technical and commercial requirements. Support distributor needs related to special pricing agreements, forecasting, quotations, and inventory coordination. Deliver compelling virtual sales pitches tailored to customer challenges and actively follow up on leads.
Serve as a trusted advisor staying current on product launches, updates, and change notifications. Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Pricing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, and Channel teams. Deliver an Extraordinary Customer Experience while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, inside sales, or account management
- Exposure to industrial or technical products (manufacturing, components, engineering, automation, etc.)
- Strong market and application knowledge within Industrial Automation, Data Centers, HVAC, or Semiconductor Equipment
- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement and continuous learning
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust in virtual environments
Responsibilities

- Support distributor needs related to special pricing agreements, forecasting, quotations, and inventory coordination
- Deliver compelling virtual sales pitches and presentations tailored to customer challenges
- Actively follow up on leads and opportunities to ensure timely progression through the sales pipeline
- Serve as a trusted advisor by staying current on product launches, updates, and change notifications
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
