Join an ambitious team and contribute significantly to expanding NielsenIQ's presence in the media sector with clients like media agencies, social media agencies, and media providers. This role suits candidates who want to develop and grow in a dynamic environment. Focus on Germany with a hybrid model.

Responsible for selling media usage data, advertising effectiveness solutions, and audience activation products based on NIQ Consumer, Retail, and Crossmedia panel data. Develop and implement strategic sales plans, build sustainable customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through Data-as-a-Service solutions. Support customers in optimizing audience targeting, media planning, and campaign measurement.

Operate in a hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the office in Hamburg or Nürnberg, remainder remote, including about 25% travel for client meetings. Part of the Commercial Team, collaborate closely with internal teams like Product and Client Success. Manage your own customer portfolio proactively.

Ideal for sales-strong, self-motivated personalities with experience in digital and data environments. Proactively identify new business opportunities, act flexibly, and succeed independently or in a team. Achieve growth by exceeding revenue targets and fostering customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or business development ideally in media, AdTech, or data
  • Good understanding of media planning, media buying, audience data, and measurement solutions
  • Proven sales successes with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in proposals, pricing, and pipeline management
  • Analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Independent and team-oriented work style in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop new business opportunities with agencies, publishers, and advertisers
  • Manage the entire sales cycle including pitches, pipeline, RFI/RFPs, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Conduct active pipeline management and consistent follow-up of opportunities
  • Provide consultative selling to precisely position NIQ solutions like data, insights, ad effectiveness, and audience activation
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships ensuring satisfaction and growth
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Commercial, Product, and Client Success
  • Create compelling presentations and support customer development
  • Achieve or exceed revenue targets in line with company guidelines
