As Head of Strategy & Business Performance, you will set and drive the long-term strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring enterprise priorities translate into clear, measurable outcomes. You will own the enterprise strategy, corporate plan and performance system (OKRs), partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to shape decision-making, prioritisation and transformation across the business.

Our diverse team is located all over Australia, with our incredible office in the heart of Melbourne CBD. This is a pivotal succession role to ELT, with accountability for influencing enterprise outcomes and enabling the organisation to perform at scale. You will pioneer new approaches to strategy, performance and transformation, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to define and execute enterprise-wide strategy
  • Strong commercial and business acumen to drive growth and performance
  • Experience working at ELT / board level, influencing complex decisions
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared outcomes
  • Deep understanding of OKR frameworks, governance and performance systems
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear, measurable outcomes
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation or enterprise programs
  • Ability to synthesise complex data into clear, actionable insight

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and evolution of enterprise strategy and long-term direction
  • Own the corporate plan, ensuring alignment to business priorities and growth objectives
  • Establish and govern enterprise OKRs, ensuring alignment to strategy and measurable outcomes
  • Lead a central prioritisation forum to ensure resources are allocated to highest-value work
  • Lead enterprise transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery of strategic outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to ELT and senior leaders on strategy, trade-offs and performance
  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends and competitive risks
  • Pioneer new approaches to strategy, performance and transformation
