Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is North America’s leading provider of innovative outdoor living solutions. The Outside Sales Representative handles sales for Sakrete and Amerimix product lines to dealers, distributors, and contractors. This remote role focuses on maintaining business, generating leads, and building customer relationships.
Daily responsibilities include prospecting new customers and working closely with clients and contractors to develop sales strategies. Analyze market trends to create action plans that capitalize on shifts. Prepare reports on sales projects and prospecting activities for monthly meetings.
Compile dealers' sales data, interpret buying cycles, and share insights with production for efficient weekly and monthly planning. Quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders. The position requires up to 50% travel and is based remotely in San Antonio, TX.
Grow earnings through base salary plus commission targeting $80,000-$100,000. Benefit from auto allowance, fuel card, comprehensive health coverage, and retirement savings. Develop entrepreneurial skills in the building materials industry with established brands like Belgard and Echelon.
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, training and education
- 3+ years related experience in sales or account management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience within the building materials industry
- Ability to navigate through a Customer Relationship Management platform
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver’s license and travel up to 50%
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective relationships with current customers that lead to increased sales and revenue
- Identify and prospect for new customers
- Work closely with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies
- Analyze market trends and develop action plans to capitalize on shifts in market
- Prepare sales projects and prospecting activity reports for monthly meetings
- Compile dealers' sales data, interpret buying cycles, and share results with production to plan weekly and monthly production
- Quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
