About this role
PadSplit is hiring an Account Executive to expand our marketplace by engaging traditional property owners to become PadSplit Hosts. This role helps homeowners unlock additional income by listing properties while addressing housing affordability through shared housing in the New York City Metro market. It's a critical position for driving marketplace growth.
Day-to-day involves prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via cold calling and emailing, and hosting discovery calls to understand property owners' needs. You'll deliver tailored value propositions on PadSplit's model for superior rental income, build trust-based relationships, and close deals by customizing solutions including financial modeling.
Thrive in a remote, fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision, collaborating with onboarding teams and tracking metrics in CRM systems. Stay updated on real estate market trends and host educational sessions to refine outreach strategies effectively.

Requirements
- Proven success in B2B or B2C sales, particularly in real estate or property management sectors, with track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust and long-term relationships with property owners
- High level of self-discipline and motivation to thrive in a remote, fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to think on feet, overcome objections, and tailor solutions to unique needs of property owners
- Familiarity with the dynamics of real estate markets
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads by researching potential property owners suitable for becoming PadSplit Hosts
- Conduct outreach including cold calling, emailing, and networking to connect with traditional property owners
- Host discovery calls and meetings to understand property owners' needs, goals, and barriers
- Deliver value propositions articulating benefits like increased revenue, simplified management, and societal impact
- Build and nurture trust-based relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Tailor hosting solutions based on financial modeling, property suitability, and compliance
- Close deals by guiding property owners through decisions and negotiating terms
- Track and report metrics in CRM systems, monitoring outreach and conversion rates
