About this role
Ameritas is seeking a Divisional Vice President to focus on recruiting independent financial professionals to Ameritas Investment Corp. and Ameritas Advisory Services. In this role you will identify and successfully recruit advisors who seek to operate an independent business with a true business partner.
You will build and deploy a comprehensive relationship management strategy for agency and advisor distribution channels. You will serve as the driving force communicating the AIC/AAS value proposition to the financial professional community through prospecting calls and formal presentations.
This position is remote and does not require regular in-office presence. You will coordinate home office visits, networking dinners, and represent AIC/AAS at trade shows while managing transition consultants to drive successful onboarding experiences.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to qualify prospects based upon comprehensive engagement questionnaire
- Skill developing innovative strategies and detailed sales plans to attain recruitment goals
- Experience coordinating home office visits, networking dinners, and receptions for prospective representatives
- Ability to prepare detailed activity and pipeline reports for enterprise stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Contribute meaningfully as a member of the broker dealer and RIA leadership team
- Develop and maintain an effective recruiting and relationship management strategy supporting agency growth objectives
- Recruit qualified registered representatives and investment advisor representatives by developing leads from multiple sources
- Manage the comprehensive CBA review process and creation of transition assistance packages
- Conduct prospecting calls and utilize consultative sales skills to recruit new business
- Prepare and deliver formal business presentations highlighting platforms, products, technology, and service
- Develop relationships with product sponsors, wholesalers, and other contacts as sources of new lead generation
- Manage and direct transition consultants to drive successful onboarding experiences
