About this role
As a Team Leader, provide supervisory, administrative, and communication support to staff in the Revenue Cycle Operations Patient Business Follow Up team. Function as a team member on routine assignments while handling special duties as requested. Possess ability to perform any task within the team in this hybrid role.
Act as a resource for information to all team members and inquiries from other areas. Responsible for escalating issues related to process improvements. Assist supervisor with reporting, productivity tracking, and system testing.
Meet or exceed QA and Productivity requirements while conducting routine Quality Assurance with feedback to supervisor. Provide training to new team members and refresher sessions for existing staff. Make recommendations on when new employees are ready to work independently.
Assist with development of policies, procedures, and the team procedure manual. Attend meetings with or on behalf of the supervisor, representing the department professionally. Participate in discussions and stay well-prepared on relevant topics.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent and minimum of five years patient accounts experience
- Minimum of two years Epic Revenue Cycle experience
- Experience with end-to-end Revenue Cycle operations (e.g., billing, denials, collections)
- Experience identifying trends and driving process improvements
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and supporting team performance
- Experience using data analytics tools or reporting platforms to analyze and present findings
- Experience with automation tools, process optimization, or emerging technologies in an operational environment
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to stakeholders or leadership
