As our new Frontline Industry (IND) Customer Sales Support Center (CSSC) Representative, deliver world-class customer service through digital, telephone, email, and live chat channels.

Resolve enquiries efficiently while maximizing sales opportunities within our Industry segment. This position may be based on a hybrid schedule in Lenexa, KS or in Apodaca, NL, Mexico.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) OR 3-5 years of technical customer service experience in a similar role
  • Relevant customer service and administrative experience with strong organizational skills and accountability
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and listen carefully to determine customer needs
  • Experience in the pump, water technology, or similar technical industry with fundamental pump product and application knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP CRM/SD/MM or similar customer service software and databases
  • Understanding of business structure, products, and key market needs to create customer-centric experiences

Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial and technical advice on customer enquiries via email, telephone, live chat, and instant messaging, resolving issues within defined timeframes
  • Create, optimize, and manage CRM tickets (RFI, RFQ, RFO, RFC) for own processing or forwarding to specialized departments
  • Prepare professional offers and quotations based on customer requirements, and track them according to sales guidelines
  • Identify new business opportunities during customer interactions and share leads with nominated colleagues
  • Assist customers with order progression, supply chain issues, pricing, and delivery information within set SLAs
  • Promote Grundfos digital tools (Chat, GPC, MyGrundfos, Extranet) and maintain customer contact data in SAP CRM
