5w1 month agoCaptivateIQ
Remote · Full-time · $200,000 – $260,000
About this role
CaptivateIQ is transforming how companies plan, manage, and optimize the models that run their business. We started by revolutionizing incentive compensation management, expanded into sales planning, and are building a unified, AI-native platform for the most critical models an enterprise runs.
The Director of Product Management leads strategy and execution of the Product Platform, the shared foundation that every CaptivateIQ application is built on. This connective tissue turns a set of products into a single, AI-native system where data becomes connected and queryable.
Ownership spans AI and agent platform, data platform, workflows and reporting, identity, and state platform. A single great primitive shipped here compounds across every product and demands rigorous platform thinking paired with decisive execution.
Join a talented, fast-growing team committed to solving some of the most complex and impactful problems in enterprise modeling at platform scale, backed by Sequoia, ICONIQ, Accel, Sapphire Ventures, and Workday Ventures.
Requirements
- Hands-on leader with deep curiosity about systems beneath the surface and rigorous platform thinking.
- Experience balancing platform strategy with decisive product execution at enterprise scale.
- Strong understanding of AI-native systems, agent platforms, data modeling, and workflow orchestration.
- Ability to deliver primitives that compound across multiple customer-facing applications.
- Track record owning cross-cutting capabilities such as identity, state management, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own the Product Platform strategy and roadmap for shared layers across data, workflows, identity, state, and AI.
- Define how shared layers turn products into a single AI-native system with consistent agent-accessible surfaces.
- Lead the AI and agent platform including agent SDK, MCP server, eval framework, and shared chat primitives.
- Drive the data platform covering bi-directional connectors, ETL, and transformation to clean, queryable objects.
- Oversee workflows and reporting for long-running orchestration with human-in-the-loop approvals and native analytics.
- Manage identity capabilities including authentication, SSO, RBAC policies, entitlements, and feature gating.
- Own the state platform including versioning, state-transition machine, sandbox, and audit for compliance.
Benefits
- Remote and hybrid work across Midwest, East Coast, and Toronto, Canada.
