Moneythor is an award-winning global enterprise software company based in Singapore, providing banks and fintech firms with a modern platform to enhance digital banking services. This role focuses on delivering data-driven personalised recommendations and insights for consumers and businesses.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the point person for enterprise clients in the region, helping them maximise value from the Moneythor solution. You will leverage deep JavaScript, HTML, Web development, SQL, and Java skills to customise client implementations and address ongoing technical and functional questions.

You will work closely with business development, product, and engineering teams to identify potential product enhancements and sales opportunities from client engagements. This is a remote role based in Japan, with travel to client and prospect offices within the region.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in a CSM/Solution Engineer role, or as a client-facing technical and business analyst with involvement in project implementation, pre-sales and support activities.
  • Hands-on technical experience with JavaScript, HTML, Java, SQL, Web and database technologies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple client accounts autonomously with little or no management oversight.
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English is a prerequisite.
  • Deep understanding of digital banking industry trends and developments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, operational and deep technical expertise to execute Moneythor’s Customer Success vision.
  • Act as the technical go-to person for the customer success organization and address ongoing technical and functional questions from digital banking clients.
  • Leverage deep HTML, JavaScript, Web development, SQL, and Java skills to customize clients' implementations.
  • Play an evangelist role with clients on existing and/or new features of the solution to maximize platform adoption and engagement.
  • Understand and analyze client business requirements, then help implement, test, package, and ensure timely and accurate solution delivery.
  • Partner with business development, product, and engineering teams in pre-sales, onboarding, and client-retention activities.
  • Use a case tracking system to manage information, questions, and answers for every client-driven request.
  • Respond to service disruptions/incidents as part of internal incident procedures.
