About this role

Revecore is seeking an Auto Claims billing specialist to make high-volume outbound calls investigating and billing medical claims on behalf of hospitals. You will maximize payments from insurance companies, helping healthcare providers recover revenue. This remote role offers paid training and great work/life balance.

Your day involves investigating auto accident details to determine the liable payer through outbound calls to patients, insurers, and attorneys. You'll submit bills and documentation to ensure maximized payments, then follow up on any unpaid claims with resubmissions and audits.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics, supported by collaborative team members and Employee Resource Groups. The culture emphasizes belonging and inclusion, with opportunities to contribute via denial reports and overall team support.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Technical proficiency to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics.
  • Remain organized while multi-tasking.
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find effective and efficient solutions.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to be fully present each day during training, participate actively, and remain on camera.

Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims to insurance companies on behalf of hospitals and medical providers.
  • Investigate and research details of auto accidents to determine the payer (patient, insurance, attorney).
  • Submit bills and proper documentation to insurance companies ensuring maximized payments.
  • Follow up on bills not paid correctly, determining next steps and resubmitting for additional payment.
  • Contribute to the team with denial reports, audits, and overall support.
  • Maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics.
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys.
