About this role

GLG is the world's leading B2B platform connecting professionals with expertise, and we are seeking an Associate for our Client Solutions team. This night shift role (6pm to 3am) operates in a hybrid setup at our Mumbai BKC office with drop availability.

As an Associate, you will be the engine driving GLG's Insight Network, working directly as a thought partner with leading professionals across industries. Your day-to-day involves fast-paced communication, recruiting new experts through targeted lead generation and timely outreach by phone and email, and scheduling critical calls between clients and Network Members.

You will collaborate closely with client-facing team members to expand projects and rescope recruiting populations, building your understanding of client strategies and various industry sectors. This role demands attention to detail, prioritization of multiple workflows, and execution on several projects simultaneously in a phone-based, highly challenging environment.

Over time and with consistent performance, you will own the full project lifecycle while receiving continued coaching and mentoring from your team. You will develop strong, transferable business skills including project management, negotiation, and the ability to achieve monthly targets, with opportunities to mentor future Associates as you become tenured.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (required).
  • 6 months to 2 years of work experience in recruitment, internet/market research, outreach, partnership, client-facing, sales, or account management roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written English.
  • Confident and strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivation to work on the phone daily with Network Members and potential recruits.
  • Eagerness to learn about new topics and industries.
  • Natural curiosity and strong critical thinking skills with a competitive spirit to win for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit new experts to join GLG's insight network through targeted lead generation and timely outreach by phone, email, and other methods.
  • Schedule and confirm critical calls and meetings between GLG's clients and Network Members, including scheduling all calls with new recruits.
  • Collaborate closely with client-facing team members to expand projects and rescope recruiting populations to drive successful client outcomes.
  • Build understanding of client strategies, various industry sectors, and value chains to identify and vet the best experts for client projects.
  • Learn and uphold compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements.
  • Proactively engage with GLG's Network Members to understand their expertise and gauge fitment for client projects.
  • Excel in a phone-based environment demanding attention to detail and prioritization of various workflows and execution on multiple projects simultaneously.
