Requirements

Strong understanding of the proposal development process with ability to identify and apply strategic approaches
Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills to produce clear, persuasive, and well-structured narratives
Proven ability to manage complex projects with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Comfort working independently and collaboratively with a thoughtful and creative approach to problem solving
Experience supporting complex proposal efforts
Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, logical sequence easily understood by multiple audiences
Skill in tailoring writing to effectively reach the intended audience

Responsibilities

Thoroughly review and interpret bid requirements to develop customized responses aligning with client needs
Partner with stakeholders across sales, subject matter experts, and creative to gather input for tailored proposal responses
Schedule and lead discovery sessions with sales and experts to draft new content and refine existing content
Write new content and rewrite existing content to reflect the win strategy for specific proposals
Craft and refine sophisticated proposal responses that are compliant, persuasive, and engaging
Edit final responses for spelling, grammar, style, formatting, consistency, voice, and clarity
Consolidate information from multiple sources to ensure complete, accurate, and cohesive bid responses
Manage multiple proposals at once, including kickoffs, deadlines, and stakeholder check-ins
