Beam Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Infectious Disease Physician to perform Outpatient Tele-Clinic. Our focus is to remove barriers to accessing specialty care for underserved communities.

This part-time role involves a half day of tele-specialty clinic per week, starting with four hours of patient care and two dedicated administrative hours. Duties include patient chart review, one-on-one patient visits, and providing recommendations to the referring provider.

Requirements

Board Certified in Infectious Disease.
MD or DO degree.
5+ years of clinical practice.
Active license with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or licensure in Louisiana.
No visa sponsorship available at this time.

Responsibilities

Perform a half day of tele-specialty clinic per week.
Provide four hours of patient care and two hours of dedicated administrative time weekly.
Conduct patient chart reviews and one-on-one patient visits.
Provide treatment recommendations to the referring provider.
Manage infectious disease cases, including review of lab results and treatment plans.
Coordinate care with referring primary care providers and specialists.
Potential to add curbside and e-consult services in the future.
Maintain flexible scheduling as needed.
