About this role

Beam Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Infectious Disease Physician to perform Outpatient Tele-Clinic. Our focus is to remove barriers to accessing specialty care for underserved communities.

This part-time role involves a half day of tele-specialty clinic per week, starting with four hours of patient care and two dedicated administrative hours. Duties include patient chart review, one-on-one patient visits, and providing recommendations to the referring provider.

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Infectious Disease.
  • MD or DO degree.
  • 5+ years of clinical practice.
  • Active license with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or licensure in Louisiana.
  • No visa sponsorship available at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a half day of tele-specialty clinic per week.
  • Provide four hours of patient care and two hours of dedicated administrative time weekly.
  • Conduct patient chart reviews and one-on-one patient visits.
  • Provide treatment recommendations to the referring provider.
  • Manage infectious disease cases, including review of lab results and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate care with referring primary care providers and specialists.
  • Potential to add curbside and e-consult services in the future.
  • Maintain flexible scheduling as needed.
