About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious team and contribute significantly to expanding NielsenIQ (NIQ)'s presence in the media sector with clients like media agencies, social-media agencies, and media providers. The role suits candidates eager to develop and grow in a dynamic environment. Focus is on Germany with an own customer portfolio.
As part of the Commercial Team, sell media usage data, advertising impact solutions, and target group activation products based on NIQ consumer, retail, and crossmedia panel data. Develop and implement strategic sales plans. Drive revenue growth through Data-as-a-Service solutions while supporting customers optimize target addressing, media planning, and campaign measurement.
Manage the full sales cycle including pitches, pipeline, RFI/RFPs, pricing, offers, and contract negotiations. Build and maintain strong customer relationships ensuring satisfaction and growth. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Commercial, Product, and Client Success.
Work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in Hamburg or Nürnberg office and rest remote, plus about 25% travel for client meetings. Operate independently and in a team within a dynamic setting. Achieve or exceed revenue targets aligned with company guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience in sales or business development ideally in media, AdTech, or data
- Good understanding of media planning, media buying, target group data, and measurement solutions
- Proven sales successes with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in proposal and pricing as well as pipeline management
- Analytical thinking and ability to translate data into concrete action recommendations
- Independent and team-oriented working style in a dynamic environment
- Proficient with MS Office, CRM knowledge advantageous
- Fluent German and English skills
Responsibilities

- Provide consultative selling to position NIQ solutions precisely including data, insights, ad impact, and target activation
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring satisfaction and growth
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Commercial, Product, and Client Success
- Create compelling presentations and support customer development
- Achieve or exceed revenue targets in line with company guidelines
