We are an integral part of Crane NXT, a $2 billion business with over 5,000 associates, and we are seeking a Bid Manager to join our global Commercial team.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end bid process for strategic commercial opportunities, ensuring high-quality, competitive, and compliant proposals are delivered on time. You will develop bid strategies aligned with business goals and client requirements, coordinating input from sales, legal, finance, and technical teams.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global business environment, managing bid timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet strict deadlines. You will also support commercial leadership in pipeline planning and bid qualification, driving successful outcomes.

This position offers the opportunity to influence key commercial decisions and contribute to the growth of a global leader in authentication and security. You will conduct post-bid reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement, enhancing your expertise in bid management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in bid management, proposal development, or commercial operations.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in proposal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of bids, from opportunity assessment to submission.
  • Develop bid strategies aligned with business goals and client requirements.
  • Coordinate input from sales, legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure comprehensive proposals.
  • Review and edit proposal content for clarity, compliance, and impact.
  • Manage bid timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet strict deadlines.
  • Conduct post-bid reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a repository of bid templates, case studies, and best practices.
  • Support commercial leadership in pipeline planning and bid qualification.
