Medline is a leading provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions, serving all points of care. The company has an immediate opening for a Junior Product Manager in the Personal Care division at its EU headquarters in Utrecht, Netherlands. This hybrid role manages the full product lifecycle, including sourcing, marketing, new product development, sales support, and financial growth.

Participate in expanding the product portfolio and launching new products through development and design. Conduct market research to identify trends affecting sales, service, and product development, providing feedback for improvements. Interact with sales to determine market needs and potential innovations.

Report to the Senior Product Manager and work closely with the sales force to train them on products. Provide field support to build market, customer, and competitive knowledge. Collaborate across teams to drive sales and meet forecast targets.

Track key accounts, implementation dates, and CRM revenues while preparing for tenders. Serve as the technical product expert, contributing to presentations and strategy. Support backorder reports and forecasting to maintain service levels and identify demand changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing (Master degree preferred)
  • At least 2 to 3 years of product management or marketing experience in Health Care or pharmaceutical industries
  • Demonstrated ability to execute sales marketing strategies and tactics
  • Ability to build in-depth knowledge of products, customers and market needs
  • Ability to analyze market trends to effectively develop presentations, provide recommendations and business forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the expansion of the product portfolio and the launch of new products, acting in development and design
  • Conduct market research and identify market trends that affect sales, service, and product development
  • Develop training programs, design marketing materials, and tactical promotional tools for the sales team
  • Provide sales team support including field support to increase market, customer, and competitive knowledge
  • Track sales forecast targets, record activity on accounts, and help prepare for tenders
  • Provide updates on key accounts, closes, implementation dates, and CRM revenues
  • Serve as technical/product expert to contribute to technical presentations and product strategy
  • Support analysis and communication on products backorder/surplus reports and forecasting
