The Regional Sales Manager for Government and Military prepares and executes the full sales cycle for products, services, and solutions to US Government, Military, and associated customers. This remote role demands delivering and exceeding sales expectations while positioning Seal Dynamics as a world-class partner. Balance customer needs with corporate goals through our unique marketing approach.
Routinely conduct sales calls and travel to customers for at least 50% of time, executing tactical meetings at facilities like Engineering Support, Defense Logistics Agencies, and US Military Bases. Develop relationships with decision makers across Program Management, Supply Chain offices, and Foreign Military Sales customers. Maintain ties as organizations and contacts evolve.
Monitor competitors, industry trends, and risks to buying decisions while identifying opportunities based on product reliability, performance, availability, and price. Introduce Source Approval Requests and support approvals, develop quarterly budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with Product Managers and teams to drive results and promote solutions.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of aerospace structural, mechanical, and electro-mechanical products for airframe and engine applications
- Experience in sales to US Government, Military, Defense Logistics Agencies, and Foreign Military Sales customers
- Familiarity with FAA approved PMAs, Test and Computation PMAs, and Source Approval Requests (SAR)
- Ability to deliver sales presentations and collect customer information for marketing plans and strategies
- Proficiency in developing quarterly sales budgets and forecasts
- Comfortable with extensive travel (minimum 50%) to government facilities and military bases
- Skill in balancing customer requirements with corporate objectives in government contracting
Responsibilities
- Technically understand the functionality of all products and effectively sell by differentiating over competition
