About this role
As an SEM Strategist, you will develop, manage, and analyze custom SEM strategies for high-tier clients. You will conduct on-site audits, build strategic recommendations, and explain SEM concepts to clients and sales partners. The role ensures campaigns meet performance goals while staying current on industry changes.
You will support pre-sale analysis and ongoing campaign fulfillment, reporting, and optimization. Daily tasks include monitoring campaign delivery and pacing to ensure performance meets benchmarks. You also provide post-sale reporting and recommendations to clients.
You will collaborate closely with sales and account management colleagues to execute hands-on campaign strategies. You also assist peers in understanding strategy analysis and development. Sharing best practices with Ad Operations and Sales team members is a key part of this role.
The ideal candidate is passionate about SEM and client success, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. You will continually learn and apply new insights to campaign strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-tier clients and shape impactful SEM campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years’ experience in SEM strategy building (agency environment preferred).
- Proven track record in building SEM strategies for a variety of business types.
- Demonstrated expertise in ad operations processes.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to explain complex topics in simple language.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working within deadlines.
- A desire to continually learn and apply knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and analyze custom SEM strategies for the highest-level clients.
- Support pre-sales analysis and ongoing fulfillment of the SEM program.
- Assist peers in understanding strategy analysis and development.
- Achieve established KPIs for campaigns.
- Provide full, hands-on campaign strategy and execution in collaboration with sales and account management colleagues.
- Monitor campaign delivery and pacing to ensure performance meets set standards and benchmarks.
- Provide post-sale campaign reporting and recommendations, with support of sales strategy as needed.
Benefits
- Remote-based work environment.
- Base salary plus incentive compensation with total potential earnings between $55,000 and $66,000.
