About this role

Frontier Direct Care sells its product through multiple channels including employee benefit brokers, general agencies, third-party administrators, and captives to small-to-mid sized self-funded employers. As Territory Sales Executive, focus on growing all channels with emphasis on employee benefit brokerage in historically underdeveloped markets. Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer as part of the Commercial team.

Conduct market research, identify key decision makers at employee benefit firms, and network via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and marketing to schedule meetings. Attend industry tradeshows and events to open new broker offices and build relationships. Deliver qualified meetings and collaborate with the CCO across the sales cycle.

Gain interdepartmental exposure with marketing, operations, finance, and account management. Engage internally and externally in designated territories and channels. This remote position requires location within Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, or San Antonio metropolitan areas, with up to 40% travel.

Devise strategic plans, execute projects, and drive hyper-growth by developing key employee benefit decision makers. Continuously achieve weekly and monthly KPIs while building on existing relationships. Tenaciously add tangible value with high personal accountability and resilience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Proven experience growing a book of business in an assigned territory
  • Experience driving impact in a metrics/KPI based environment
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies
  • Self-funded, ancillary benefits industry experience preferred
  • Health care related experience preferred
  • Experience building and owning relationships with employee benefit brokers in an assigned market
  • Up to 40% travel for client meetings and business purposes

Responsibilities

  • Research designated markets and identify key decision makers at relevant employee benefit firms
  • Attend industry specific tradeshows and events
  • Network and engage via cold call, email, LinkedIn, and marketing emails to schedule meetings
  • Engage with and open new employee benefits brokerage houses within designated markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing contacts in designated markets
  • Deliver qualified meetings and collaborate with CCO across the sales cycle
  • Devise strategic plans, execute projects, and conduct market research
  • Continuously achieve weekly and monthly KPIs
