At Turtle Rock Studios we make the games we want to play in a collaborative environment that empowers creative freedom and growth. Based in Orange County we support flexible arrangements ranging from in-studio to fully remote across North America. The Senior Community Manager acts as the voice and face of the community connecting players worldwide with our development team.

This role requires someone comfortable jumping into Discord to chat with players and hosting livestreams with developers. You will shape the connection between the studio and players who bring our worlds to life through authentic communication and turning feedback into action. The position reports to the Head of Marketing.

Day-to-day work involves championing our global community as the daily link between players regional partners and the development team. You will lead engagement efforts across platforms manage social channels and create on-brand content that resonates with players. Monitoring sentiment and trends helps turn insights into recommendations that improve the player experience.

Requirements

5+ years of experience managing communities for live or shipped games ideally in AAA development pipelines
Deep understanding of community management best practices and player engagement
Confident natural on-camera presence for connecting directly with players through streams and videos
Hands-on experience creating social and community content in an established brand or product voice
Proficiency with monitoring analytics and reporting tools such as Sprout Brandwatch Meltwater and Discord insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills that are approachable clear and authentic
A savvy gamer capable of playing well with an eye for gameplay moments community stories and emerging social trends
Collaborative positive and comfortable working across departments to bring the community perspective into decisions

Responsibilities

Champion our global community as the daily link between players regional partners and the development team
Lead global community management efforts to connect players across regions and keep them engaged with development updates
Represent Turtle Rock Studios in developer streams community updates and social content with authenticity and enthusiasm
Manage and grow our presence across Reddit Discord X TikTok Instagram YouTube and emerging platforms
Write and produce posts and updates that reflect the studio’s personality while interfacing with creative services
Plan and execute international communication strategies for patches updates events and new content drops
Use third-party tools to track engagement player feedback and community health turning insights into recommendations
Collaborate with teams across the studio and global partners to ensure unified messaging and bring player insights forward
