Manage and coach 6–8 engineers in an inclusive culture with team rituals driving excellence and growth. Based in Vancouver office with hybrid schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays in-office. Wednesdays often remote; Fridays depend on work and teams.

Spend significant time with customers to validate feasibility and co-develop workflows solving real problems. Thrive in customer conversations translating insights into product decisions. Leverage AI and emerging technologies to elevate experiences and sharpen decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years managing a technical team, and demonstrated track record of growing engineers across levels
  • Earn trust quickly with intelligence, empathy, and technical depth to dive into architecture, flows, and tradeoffs with engineering team
  • Built and scaled new products or incubations before, operating with urgency and resourcefulness through ambiguity
  • Thrive in customer conversations translating qualitative insights into crisp product decisions solving operational pain
  • Clear, persuasive communicator who structures ambiguous spaces and aligns engineering, design, product, and exec stakeholders
  • Deeply curious about AI and emerging technologies, leveraging them to elevate product experiences and decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach 6–8 engineers, fostering an inclusive culture and establishing team rituals that drive excellence and professional growth
  • Partner with product, design, and UXR to translate customer pain points into a reliable, technical MVP and scalable architectural roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to balance large-scale feature launches with iterative, daily product enhancements
  • Guide the articulation and execution of the team’s future roadmap tying work to high-level business goals
  • Spend significant time with customers to validate technical feasibility and co-develop workflows solving real-world problems
