About this role
Chorus Innovations is a fast-growing healthcare technology company that enables rapid development of mobile, desktop, text messaging, and interactive voice applications. We are seeking a VP of Product Management to define, build, and lead our Product Management function through the next stage of our platform evolution.
This leader will translate market signals into scalable, AI-enabled products while working closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical Solutions, and Go-To-Market teams to foster a collaborative product culture. They will establish governance and decision-making frameworks that drive cross-functional alignment and measurable product outcomes.
The VP will recruit, mentor, and elevate a team of product managers, empowering them to operate with autonomy and clear alignment toward company goals. They will integrate modern product practices, high standards of accountability, and a user-centric mindset within the product organization.
Ultimately, this executive will drive Chorus’s transition from custom project-based delivery toward a scalable, market-ready product organization. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the culture, talent, and operational rigor of the entire product function as the organization grows.
Requirements
- Executive-level experience leading product management in a fast-growing technology company, preferably in healthcare or platform-as-a-service.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategy that aligns with company goals and market opportunities.
- Track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing product teams with a focus on accountability and autonomy.
- Expertise in establishing product management standards, frameworks, prioritization processes, and review rhythms.
- Strong capability in leveraging market research, customer discovery, competitive analysis, and user research to drive data-informed product decisions.
- Experience driving cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, Clinical, and Go-To-Market teams.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled product development and scalable platform models.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to build executive visibility and alignment.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead product strategy across Chorus’s platform, product lines, reusable templates, and application capabilities, aligning them directly with overall company goals.
- Establish the frameworks for roadmap development and prioritization, balancing customer needs, market opportunity, business value, and engineering feasibility.
- Establish clear governance and decision-making frameworks to identify scalable product offerings versus custom work, driving cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Delivery, and Commercial teams.
- Build clear executive visibility into roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, dependencies, and key decisions as the primary champion of the product vision.
- Define, champion, and codify what highly effective Product Management looks like at Chorus, including role definitions, performance expectations, and ownership boundaries.
- Implement standards, templates, and review rhythms that drive clarity, rigor, and execution speed without bureaucratic bottlenecks.
- Guide the team in leveraging market research, customer discovery, competitive insights, and UXR to validate opportunities and de-risk core product development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Product Management team, recruiting and elevating product managers to operate with autonomy and clear alignment.
