About this role

The AI Architect Lead is a leadership role entailing strategy and tactical technology assessment. Engage various organizational levels including department heads, executives, and risk teams to develop AI use cases influencing Bank AI adoption. Report to the Chief Technology Officer for thought leadership on AI frameworks.

Work with business teams to understand goals and requirements, aligning AI solutions with engineering teams. Define reusable AI architecture frameworks and patterns. Collaborate with Risk Management to establish AI processes and controls.

Interact across engineering, security, risk leaders, and HR training department. Conduct PoCs to demonstrate AI value. Advise on AI technologies, perform risk assessments, and ensure ethical compliance.

Contribute to Bank's AI/ML technical direction and architectural vision. Assist in selecting AI technologies and preparing designs for Architecture Review Board. Build relationships with lines of business to guide AI product planning.

Requirements

Deep understanding of business needs and ability to communicate to engineering teams
Knowledge of LLM model architecture for platform evaluations
Experience evaluating open-source and commercial AI technologies
Familiarity with synthetic data to address data drift, quality, and bias
Proficiency in agile methodology for AI-powered applications
Skills in AI risk assessment and mitigation in regulated environments
Ability to define AI processes and controls with Risk Management
Experience aligning AI with strategic goals in financial services

Responsibilities

Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify AI opportunities for business processes
Recommend AI technologies and synthetic data solutions across engineering teams
Conduct PoCs to demonstrate AI solution value and feasibility
Perform risk assessments of AI solutions and recommend mitigation strategies
Translate business requirements into technical AI implementations
Contribute to comprehensive AI Architecture framework with patterns and guidelines
Work with security and risk leaders for ethical AI and regulatory compliance
Assist in AI training rollout with HR department
