About this role

This remote position seeks an SAP S/4HANA Project Manager with Aerospace & Defense (A&D) / Discrete Manufacturing experience. The role leads end-to-end delivery of the digital commerce and order fulfillment strategy. It ensures high-scale performance and seamless integration with the back-office S/4HANA core, navigating complex regulated supply chains.

Day-to-day involves managing the full lifecycle of SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris) and OMS implementations. This includes discovery, sprint planning, UAT, and cutover activities. Provide technical guidance in troubleshooting performance bottlenecks in Spartacus/Composable Storefront or middleware integration failures.

Coordinate between business owners, IT infrastructure teams, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Handle advanced OMS fulfillment with complex sourcing logic, ATP checks, multi-node distribution, and strict tracking of serialized parts in A&D. Ensure critical integration synchronizing order status between storefront and S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD).

Leverage familiarity with SAP Roadmap for Customer Experience/Lead-to-Cash scope. Define target end-state and transitional plan within customer project portfolio. Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills at leadership/executive levels using MS Office tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams/SharePoint.

Requirements

Aerospace & Defense (A&D) / Discrete Manufacturing experience navigating complex, highly regulated supply chains
In-depth knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud including integration with S/4HANA via BTP or SCPI, B2B/B2C Accelerators, PIM, and Smart Edit
Order Management System (OMS) expertise in advanced fulfillment, complex sourcing logic, ATP checks, multi-node distribution
Experience with strict tracking of serialized parts and split shipments in A&D sector
Familiarity with SAP Roadmap for Customer Experience/Lead-to-Cash and ability to define target end-state and transitional plan
Strong communication and presentation skills at leadership/executive levels
Excellent MS Office skills particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams/SharePoint
