About this role

As Engineering Manager for the newly formed Platform team at Render, you'll lead a growing group of talented engineers building the internal developer platform that powers our product and millions of users. Your mission is to modernize shared infrastructure—observability, CI/CD, developer environments—from good to great.

You will guide technical direction, develop engineers, and ensure the team ships meaningful improvements quickly while maintaining high standards. This role blends strong technical leadership with product thinking, partnering closely with other engineering teams and product managers to translate user needs into scalable systems.

Requirements

Strong technical leadership experience with the ability to guide technical direction and develop engineers.

Familiarity with observability, CI/CD, developer environments, and storage infrastructure.
