About this role

Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) (Nasdaq: QUBT) is an innovative, integrated photonics company that provides accessible and affordable quantum machines. Pioneers of Entropy Quantum Computing (EQC), utilizing open quantum systems to solve NP-hard optimization problems. Portfolio offers capabilities in high-performance computing, AI, cybersecurity, and remote sensing.

Seeking a Full Stack software engineer to build the web management interface for quantum computing devices. Work across the stack to design REST APIs, implement React and TypeScript interfaces, and integrate with underlying hardware control services. Deployed in cloud environments and on-premise hardware appliances.

Build and maintain unified React, TypeScript, and Next.js codebase for user access, system administration, and auditing. Design RESTful APIs exposing device operations, telemetry, and configuration. Integrate with distributed backend microservices for real-time hardware telemetry, job scheduling, and system status.

Collaborate closely with backend engineers on hardware control platform, plus UI/UX and Product teams. Translate operator workflows into clean, reliable web experiences. Implement features like RBAC, data visualizations, credential management, and network configuration interfaces.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building full-stack web applications
  • Frontend experience with React and TypeScript, including building interfaces for technical or operator-facing users
  • Backend experience in Python, including building REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask, Django REST Framework or similar
  • Experience contributing to web management consoles from REST API endpoints through UI implementation

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a unified React, TypeScript, and Next.js codebase for central management interface
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs that expose device operations, telemetry, and configuration
  • Integrate with distributed backend microservices to surface real-time hardware telemetry and system status
  • Implement client-side data visualizations for device state, telemetry streams, and system health
  • Build configuration and credential management flows including key generation, rotation, and auditing
  • Implement network configuration interfaces replacing CLI-based workflows
  • Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) across API and UI layers
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for deploying console with hardware releases

Benefits

  • Fully remote position
  • Work on pioneering quantum computing technology
  • Deployments in cloud and on-premise environments
