As Head of Denials and Receivables, you will lead overall delivery of Denials & Receivables solutions. Establish and execute operations strategies from planning through client delivery in a collaborative culture.

Day-to-day involves providing leadership and direction to the solution delivery team while serving as a strategic thought leader in denials and RCM. Develop resource plans, contribute to solution roadmaps including AI adoption, and utilize advanced data analytics for performance tracking. Monitor KPIs, collaborate with IT, and implement process improvements to streamline operations.

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of acute care hospital provider revenue cycle operations and systems best practices
  • Expert-level knowledge of denial management strategies and tactics
  • Technical and data savvy
  • Operations savvy and efficiency conscious
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Experience leading and motivating large teams
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end RCM and denials business from an RCM vendor perspective

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of Denials & Receivables solutions, providing leadership, direction, and guidance to the solution delivery team
  • Serve as a strategic thought leader in the denials and RCM space, contributing to industry conversations and internal innovation
  • Develop and execute resource plans to support solution objectives
  • Contribute to solution roadmap including technology requirements and evaluation of AI and automation capabilities
  • Champion a culture of innovation by identifying trends, piloting new approaches to denials management, and scaling solutions
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to identify trends, track performance, and make data-driven decisions
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to ensure solution objectives are met
  • Develop and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts; ownership of solution P&L
