About this role

Our clinical team works a hybrid work from home schedule. Responsible for day-to-day case management of assigned clinical cases. This includes creating appropriate programming based on initial and ongoing evaluations, client needs, and best ethical practices.

Lead and mentor technicians on individual patient plan implementation and quality of treatment. Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments to design and maintain top quality treatment programs aligned with Gateway policies and organizational philosophy. Oversee accurate records, client notes, data, and reports.

Meet with treatment staff to assist in case management, continuing training, and development. Exercise discretion and independent management of client services and supervision of treatment protocols. Reports directly to the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Encourage and engage parents or caretakers in parent training for relevant treatment techniques. Prepare and attend client educational meetings such as IEPs and develop treatment recommendations. Work cooperatively with internal staff and outside stakeholders including school personnel.

Behavior analysts, therapists, and counselors combine expertise to deliver high-quality behavioral services. Maintain certification through CEUs and required trainings.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university in accordance with BACB guidelines
  • BCaBA certification from the BACB, in good standing
  • Active state license, in good standing, when applicable
  • 1+ years working with children and autism spectrum disorders
  • Previous supervision experience is preferred
  • Crisis management experience is preferred
  • Travel to in-homes and local clinics

Responsibilities

  • Create appropriate programming for the client based upon the results from initial and ongoing evaluations, needs of the client, and best ethical practices
  • Maintain clinical requirements for client supervision based upon guidelines from insurance companies, community mental health organizations, and Gateway policies
  • Lead and mentor technicians on individual patient plan implementation and quality of treatment
  • Meet with treatment staff to assist in case management, continuing training, and development
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and design treatment programs aligned with Gateway policies and organizational philosophy
