The Manager, Visual Merchandising and Store Design Operations drives execution of VMSD initiatives across global retail locations.

This role supports milestone tracking, project management, trafficking, and coordination of product launches at retail touchpoints. Core emphasis includes managing secondary product placements globally and seasonal updates for North America Flagship store, Global Countertop Units, and select shop-in-shops. It also handles approval timelines for VMSD projects in China including SIS, FSS, and Sephora.

Partner closely with Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Creative, Trade/Product Marketing, Operations, and external vendors. Serve as operational bridge in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment. Demonstrate agility and lead cross-functional meetings and project reviews.

This exciting new pivotal position ensures product launches meet timelines, budgets, and brand standards. Own seasonal project trackers and operational KPIs as the business grows globally. Track budgeting, forecasting, and cost for VMSD programs across retailers like Sephora and Ulta.

Requirements

  • Experience driving operational execution of visual merchandising and store design initiatives
  • Proficiency in project management systems for milestone tracking and risk communication
  • Ability to manage global retail projects across Sephora, Ulta, APAC channels
  • Skill in coordinating multi-stakeholder approvals and revisions internationally
  • Knowledge of VMSD processes for permanent fixtures, countertops, and shop-in-shops
  • Familiarity with retail operations in NA Flagship stores and China projects
  • Agility in fast-paced environments with dependency management
  • Expertise in budgeting and forecasting for VMSD programs

Responsibilities

  • Manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables within departmental project management system
  • Track project milestones across retailers like Sephora, Ulta, and regions including NA, ANZ, APAC
  • Coordinate approvals, feedback cycles, and revisions with internal and external global contributors
  • Serve as operational bridge between VMSD, Production, Store Operations, and cross-functional partners
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings, milestones, and project reviews
  • Develop, document, and maintain visual merchandising processes, timelines, and standards
  • Own seasonal and special project trackers ensuring alignment across teams
  • Track operational KPIs including timelines, budgets, design, and artwork production milestones
