TeamFicient is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Medical Operator for this remote position. Support patients by coordinating appointment scheduling and facilitating clear, accurate communication between patients and healthcare providers. Ensure continuity of care if you're calm under pressure, organized, and enjoy helping navigate healthcare needs.
Handle appointment scheduling according to clinical guidelines and patient needs. Manage daily provider calendars, reschedule appointments, and notify patients of changes promptly. Respond to inquiries, relay messages accurately, and follow up to resolve issues.

Requirements

- Familiarity with clinical guidelines for scheduling
- Proficiency in scheduling systems and EMR documentation
- Ability to communicate accurately with patients and providers
- Comfortable working between 7 AM and 7 PM CST
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments according to clinical guidelines and patient needs
- Manage daily provider calendars, including rescheduling appointments and notifying patients promptly of any changes
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding clinic services or direct concerns to the appropriate department
- Relay patient messages and requests to providers accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow up with patients and providers as needed to ensure resolution and continuity of care
- Set appointment follow-up reminders to support ongoing patient treatment and care coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation within scheduling and EMR systems
