As Director of Creative, define and execute the creative vision driving demand and pipeline growth. Ensure brand identity shines consistently across digital, paid media, email, social, web, events, and content with a performance focus.
Translate marketing and business objectives into creative programs generating measurable impact. Lead and grow an in-house team of creative professionals, reducing agency reliance while boosting quality and velocity. Report to Sr. Director of Marketing Operations in a hybrid Bellevue office or remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
Partner closely with Demand Generation, Content, Product Marketing, and Digital teams for aligned creative. Establish test-and-learn culture using data, A/B testing, and insights to optimize output. Manage budgets, timelines, and high-volume projects with ruthless prioritization.
Oversee QA workflows and maintain lean agency relationships for specialized needs. Present concepts to stakeholders, linking creative to business outcomes. Stay ahead on B2B digital marketing trends, performance creative, and tools to innovate team practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of B2B creative and design experience with time in demand generation or performance marketing
- Demand-Centric Track Record producing creative that drives measurable pipeline impact in high-growth B2B
- In-House Builder experience scaling internal creative functions over agency dependency
- Campaign Fluency with integrated demand campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Enterprise Expertise in B2B environments
- Hands-on familiarity moving buyers through the funnel with performance creative
Responsibilities
- Own the company's creative strategy developing campaigns, assets, and programs that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing in-house creative team with processes and workflows for scalable work
- Partner closely with Demand Generation, Content, Product Marketing, and Digital teams for aligned creative
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines ensuring consistency while adapting to performance contexts
- Establish a test-and-learn creative culture using performance data, A/B testing, and audience insights
- Manage budgets and timelines across concurrent projects, prioritizing and delivering on-time
- Oversee creative QA and approval workflows with clear feedback and high standards
- Present creative concepts and strategies to stakeholders connecting to business outcomes
