Join our expanding Banking & Financial Services division in the Financial Crime & Fraud team if you have at least one year of experience in banking or financial services.
You will gather evidence from customer claim submissions via in-app chat and inbound/outbound calls. Probe for additional information, investigate claims with empathy, accuracy, and attention to detail. Make decisions on cases, upholding or declining fraud claims up to £5,000, and triage higher-value cases for escalation.
Our Financial Crime & Fraud team earns and maintains customer trust, supports safe growth for clients, and contributes to a safer society. Fraud Investigators play a vital role in this mission. Work with a team passionate about process excellence and collaboration.
Start date is 1st June 2026 with 3 weeks of comprehensive training followed by 5 weeks of supported working. Enjoy a permanent full-time role working from home, 40 hours per week. Competitive pay at £27,580.80 per annum with opportunities to grow and develop your career.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Previous customer service experience or similar
- At least one year of experience in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong investigative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to be both independent and collaborative

Responsibilities
- Gather evidence from customer claim submissions via in-app chat and inbound/outbound calls
- Probe for additional information where required
- Investigate claims with empathy, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Make decisions on cases and uphold or decline fraud claims up to £5,000
- Submit accounts for closure where first-party fraud concerns are identified
- Triage cases over £5,000 for escalation
- Safeguard compromised accounts and take appropriate action to restore safe account usage
- Provide advice and support to victims of fraud
