About this role

Manage and execute New Restaurant Training Programs to equip our Management Team and Team Members with the ability to execute the Pizza Ranch® mission statement and achieve profitability goals. This position reports to the Senior Field Trainer. The role focuses on operational excellence in new restaurant openings.

Equip restaurant team members to fulfill Pizza Ranch Standards of Operations, representing 60% of key accountabilities. Refine Management Team’s key management skills of operation, including coaching, feedback, delegation, scheduling, accounting functions, inventory and ordering procedures for 25% of time. These duties ensure teams meet profitability targets.

Ensure timely coordination of restaurant opening timelines, pre-opening consultation with restaurant General Manager/Franchise Business Consultant and follow-up assessment, accounting for 10% of efforts. Conduct training programs at Local Restaurant/Regional Coop Meetings and/or annual Managers Meetings for 5%. Work involves high-volume travel up to 80%.

This position allows for a home office opportunity with some in-office requirements at the Support Center office in Orange City, IA. Build strong relationships while training restaurant-level Managers and Team Members across the Pizza Ranch territory. Travel and hybrid setup support dynamic field training environment.

Requirements

  • Restaurant Training experience required
  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate and train restaurant level Managers and Team Members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Located in or willing to relocate within the current Pizza Ranch territory
