About this role

We're hiring an AI Editor to join a small core team that punches well above its weight at Rental Scale-Up, the leading publication for short-term rental professionals. RSU runs day-to-day by a team of two and uses AI aggressively. It's part of PriceLabs, with increasing integration across content ecosystems.

You'll own content strategy end-to-end, reading news, spotting stories, deciding angles, shipping pieces, and measuring impact. Build systems with workflows and automations so a small team produces at large scale. Push the AI stack by prototyping new approaches and tools.

Operate in a tight core team that moves fast and decides quickly. Influence brands, audiences, and channels as RSU connects with PriceLabs' substantial content team. Publish across formats from articles and newsletters to video, webinars, and social.

This role offers real scope and ownership for a peer deep in AI-native content work with strong editorial instincts. Raise the ceiling by shaping shared workflows, tooling, and standards. Optimize beyond vanity metrics to drive readers to customers.

Requirements

2+ years in digital content, SEO, content marketing, or closely adjacent field
Editorial instincts: tell real story from filler, find what matters in industry reports, build trust with honest pieces
Concrete, demonstrable AI expertise: workflows built, automations deployed, prompts iterated into production tools; share specific example
Systems thinker: see content operations as a machine to be designed
Strong journalist and content thinker able to read news, spot stories, judge what matters
Experience rebuilding work around AI from genuine content or editorial background

Responsibilities

Own content strategy end-to-end: read the news, spot the story, decide the angle, ship the piece, measure what happened
Build workflows and automations that let a small team produce at the scale of a large one
Push AI stack forward: identify old ways, prototype new approaches, bring untried tools and techniques
Publish across formats: articles, newsletters, video, webinars, social
Help connect Rental Scale-Up and PriceLabs content with shared workflows, tooling, and standards
Measure what matters: understand what drives readers to become customers and optimize for that
