About this role

The Operations Production Analyst II leverages prior banking knowledge in Deposit Operations to perform daily functions in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include IRA/HSA Processing and Monitoring, Exceptions Handling, IRS Year-End Processing, NRA Certifications, and Debit Card Operations. This role supports remote and resident functions based on schedule.

Day-to-day tasks involve performing customer and account input/maintenance, handling Non-Fraud Debit Card, ACH, Zelle, and RTP Claims, plus account reactivations and abandoned property claims. Analysts ensure accurate and timely completion of functions, reconcile daily reports, and meet Service Level Agreements. They also assist with IOLA/IOLTA Account Processing.

In this team-oriented environment, contribute by assisting branch and business line employees with questions, acting as a subject matter expert on complex issues, and building relationships across Operations, Retail Branch Network, and Compliance. Attend meetings, provide input, and support training of other employees. Cross-training on department functions enhances back-up capabilities.

Growth opportunities include recommending procedure revisions for regulatory compliance, advising on deviations from standard procedures, and contributing to projects for business improvement. Assist with new release testing, specialized reports, and developing new processes to improve efficiency. Support the bank's Strategic Business Plan through assigned goals.

Requirements

  • Prior banking knowledge in Deposit Operations
  • Experience with IRA/HSA Processing and Monitoring
  • Knowledge of IRS Year-End Processing and NRA Certifications
  • Proficiency in Debit Card Operations, ACH, Zelle, and RTP Claims handling
  • Familiarity with exceptions handling and customer/account maintenance
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for deposit operations
  • Ability to reconcile reports and ensure compliance with bank standards

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned functions in a hybrid work environment
  • Perform customer and account input/maintenance to support functions and correct errors
  • Reconcile all applicable reports daily and research unresolved differences
  • Handle Debit Card Operational Functions including claims and maintenances
  • Assist with quality assurance review related to IRA transactions
  • Coordinate year-end functions and corrections for IRS Reporting on deposit accounts
  • Process account reactivations and abandoned property claims
  • Contribute to team success by meeting established Service Level Agreements
