About this role

This hybrid position involves working 3 days in person at the CORA Tampa clinic and two days remotely as a Digital Health Specialist. The DHS provides digital health services, including virtual care and remote therapeutic monitoring. It participates in program development and serves as a liaison between patients and in-clinic providers. Full-time role is 40 hours per week.

Provide physical therapy treatment to patients per established plans directed by a Physical Therapist. Progress patients skillfully and safely through treatment levels within their capabilities. Consult with supervising Physical Therapist on progress and condition changes while documenting all interactions per CORA policies.

Perform Telehealth and Remote Therapeutic Monitoring services with interactive communication. Provide education to patients and families on home programs and activities. Collaborate with teammates to grow skills and clinic culture while supporting operations for digital services and patient needs.

CORA Physical Therapy offers outpatient services for orthopedic problems, work-related injuries, sport injuries, and neuromuscular conditions. Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Florida
  • Dedication to providing exceptional quality of care to each of your patients
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience (outpatient)
  • Experience providing digital health services preferred
  • Must be located in Winter Haven, FL (or within driving distance)
  • Willing to obtain PTA licensure in other states

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist
  • Progress patients skillfully and safely through the levels of treatment within the maximum capabilities of the patient
  • Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding progress and changes in patient’s condition
  • Document all treatment and other pertinent patient interaction in accordance with CORA policies
  • Perform Telehealth and Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) services including interactive communication and monitoring
  • Provide relevant education to patient and family regarding home programs and activities
  • Collaborate with teammates to grow your skills and clinic culture
  • Work closely and support operations to deliver digital services and meet patient care and staffing needs
