About this role

Linguists are key players at TransPerfect. Your particular language skill and subject matter expertise in Legal and Technical sectors will allow you to create and finalize translations from English into Mongolian before they go to clients. TransPerfect offers the possibility to work remotely anywhere in the world.

Under the guidance of your manager and in collaboration with Project Managers, translate and proofread documents for a variety of international clients. Focus on areas like Legal Terms and Conditions and Technical UI/UX. Ensure the end product meets high-quality standards.

Expand TransPerfect's database of freelance linguists specializing in English into Mongolian. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to meet translation needs. Maintain professionalism especially under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian
Specialized in Legal or Technical fields
Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines
Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or equivalent with significant translation training from recognized institution
Or 2 years of translation experience and a college degree
Or 5 years of translation experience with no college degree
Or certificate of competence in translation from government body
