fino taxtech GmbH, an innovative software company based in Kassel, specializes in digitalizing tax processes and developing modern SaaS solutions for tax advisors and companies. As IT Administrator, you serve as the central contact for employees on technical questions. You contribute significantly to the stability, security, and development of the IT infrastructure.

You work in a modern, primarily Windows-based environment with cloud connections, especially AWS, supporting daily IT operations. Handle user support, error diagnosis, hardware/software troubleshooting, and some macOS devices. Manage installations, configurations, and updates using tools like Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and Action1.

Oversee network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and AWS components like VPC, Route 53, ELB. Administer AWS-based servers (EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache), monitoring, backups, and infrastructure via Terraform. Support containerized workloads with Docker and participate in security measures with AWS IAM and antivirus.

Collaborate on IT projects, digitalization initiatives, and cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. Manage helpdesk tickets in Jira, conduct user training, maintain documentation, and handle hardware maintenance. Ensure quick resolutions and foster IT security awareness among employees.

Requirements

Completed IT vocational training or equivalent qualification
Experience in IT support (1st and 2nd level) and user support
Proficiency in Windows-based environments with some macOS support
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM
Experience with network management (LAN, WAN, VPN) and monitoring tools
Skills in backup management, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and Docker

Responsibilities

Provide user support and troubleshoot IT problems, diagnosing hardware and software issues in a primarily Windows environment with macOS devices
Install and configure PCs, laptops, peripherals, user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, and perform software updates via Action1
Manage and monitor network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and AWS components (VPC, Route 53, ELB), including fault analysis
Administer AWS servers (EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, Lambda), perform monitoring, backups, and infrastructure maintenance with Terraform and Docker
Implement IT security measures, manage antivirus, firewalls, AWS IAM permissions, and Active Directory/Entra ID identity management
Handle helpdesk tickets in Jira, prioritize issues, escalate complex problems, and ensure quick resolutions
Document IT systems, processes, and changes; maintain knowledge base and create reports
Support IT projects, system rollouts, user training, and collaboration with departments and external providers
