About this role

This hybrid Data Engineer role is located at the corporate office in South Sioux City, NE, with relocation assistance to the Siouxland area and a schedule of three days in the office and two days remote each week. Join the IT Data Management team to build reliable data pipelines. Grow your skills in modern data platforms while shaping data infrastructure foundations.

Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs. Assist in developing and enhancing data infrastructure that supports business growth. Support cloud-based data platforms and contribute to platform enhancements and optimization.

Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions. Apply data engineering best practices related to data quality, reliability, and performance. Follow data governance, privacy, and security standards while working with sensitive data.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent Master’s graduates or professionals with a few years of experience eager to build scalable data solutions. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field or 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Foundational experience or coursework in modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one programming language such as Python
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and data pipeline development
  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
