We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a fast-growing fintech company building secure, scalable financial systems. The role emphasizes deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices focused on security, reliability, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Design and operate production infrastructure in AWS while building, scaling, and maintaining Kubernetes environments for critical services. Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and SLI/SLO implementation. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements daily.

Embed PCI DSS v4.0 compliance into infrastructure and delivery workflows, implementing security best practices like IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and encryption. Drive cloud cost optimization, performance, and efficiency. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to support platform growth.

Work fully remote from anywhere in the Philippines in a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture. Tackle scalable, real-world systems with modern architecture. Open to Philippine-based candidates only for this full-time remote position.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with AWS
Deep production experience with Kubernetes
Proven background in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
Experience working in regulated environments, including PCI DSS or similar frameworks
Strong experience with observability, automation, and infrastructure as code
Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices
Strong ownership mindset with focus on performance, security, and cost efficiency
