Bayer offers an exciting Master Thesis position on microsolvation in biological systems with a hybrid work option. Requirements

Enrolled as Master student in a natural science program (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or comparable)
Knowledge in computational chemistry and modeling; first experiences with statistical thermodynamics of solvation advantageous
Experience in a programming language like Python and familiarity with tools like PyMOL, Chimera, ORCA, Amber, or GROMACS
Strong foundation in (Bio)Chemistry
Flexible and able to work in a structured, independent manner
Interest in analyzing complex relationships and interdisciplinary questions
Previous contact with Git and Linux

Responsibilities

Develop workflows in chemistry, specifically for placing water molecules in protein-ligand systems
