About this role

AECOM seeks a Field Supervisor for transmission and substation projects with hybrid renewable integration for PMC. This site-based role supervises construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of EHV/UHV infrastructure from 33kV to 765kV. Acts as PMC representative ensuring EPC contractors meet technical specs, safety, and schedules.

Core duties include overseeing transmission line works like foundations, tower erection, stringing of conductors and OPGW, plus substation equipment erection for AIS/GIS. Monitors contractor manpower, equipment, and productivity to align with approved drawings and method statements. Supports seamless grid integration of solar PV, wind farms, and BESS systems.

Requirements

Field supervision experience in EHV/UHV transmission line construction 33kV-765kV
Knowledge of AIS/GIS substation erection including busbar and bay systems
Familiarity with conductor stringing, OPGW installation, and foundation works
Understanding of hybrid renewable integration for solar PV, wind, and BESS
Ability to interpret approved drawings, method statements, and specifications
Proficiency in monitoring contractor productivity and equipment usage
Commitment to on-site safety standards and compliance protocols

Responsibilities

Supervise execution of transmission lines up to 765kV including foundations, tower erection, and stringing of conductors and OPGW
Oversee substation AIS/GIS works such as equipment erection, busbar systems, cable laying, and bay installation
Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, method statements, technical specifications, and safety standards
Monitor EPC contractor manpower, equipment deployment, and site productivity
Oversee integration of solar PV, wind farms, and BESS systems with transmission network for grid connectivity
Support testing and commissioning activities for transmission, substations, and renewable evacuation systems
Act as PMC representative at site maintaining project schedules and quality
