Remote Mechanical Estimator

This is a remote Mechanical Estimator position for a Building & Construction (HVAC) client. We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Estimator with strong Commercial and Architectural skills. You will lead allocated tenders, prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and professional tender submissions while working 9AM-5PM Sydney time.

As Estimator, perform takeoffs, measurement of critical metrics, and project estimation daily. Prepare construction budgets by studying plans, specifications, and schedules to identify and project costs. Liaise with Client Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and key subcontractors to clarify scope and design issues for accurate pricing.

Work closely daily with the Managing Director and build relationships with existing clients by following up on tenders. Participate in Tender Handover meetings and ensure compliance with tender requirements. Send and track tender packages to contractors and suppliers while reporting on risks and opportunities.

Join a progressive team taking ownership of tenders from preparation to submission. Target start ASAP with 30 hours weekly to begin. Achieve the most accurate pricing through flexible, detail-oriented approaches in a remote Philippines-based WFH setup.
